What's new in Kochab 1.4
Synology Download Station, more control over your download clients, Prowlarr grabs and indexer choice, a bigger Analytics page, and new tools for Plex, Jellyfin, Radarr, Sportarr, Tdarr and NAS storage.
More control over downloads
Every download row now offers the same actions, whichever client it came from. Before, what you could do depended on which client you tapped, so the same gesture worked on one row and not the next.
You can also pause for a set time instead of remembering to resume later, pick a category and priority when you add something, and drag rows to reorder the queue. When something urgent lands behind a large season pack, you can move it up from your phone.
A new download client, and more from the others
Synology Download Station is now a supported download client, so people who download straight to their NAS can manage it next to everything else.
SABnzbd and NZBGet now show your news servers and quotas. If downloads stall because a provider is down or a block account is nearly used up, you can see it without opening the client’s web page. Torrent clients show tracker errors and when seeding will stop, which answers the usual “why is this still here” question.
Prowlarr, with more say
You can now send grabs through Prowlarr and choose which indexers a search uses. When one indexer is slow or keeps returning junk, you can leave it out of a search instead of waiting on it.
Prowlarr also shows indexer details, history, stats, and proxies, so you can see how your indexers are doing, and which ones are failing, without leaving the app.
A fuller Analytics page
Analytics now shows recent plays, and one time filter applies to the whole page, so every chart answers the same question about the same period. Tap a user to see their activity on its own. There are also more charts from Tautulli, Jellystat, and Tracearr.
More from your servers
Plex and Jellyfin let you run their tasks and library scans from the app. When new files have landed and the library has not picked them up, you no longer need a computer to kick off a scan.
Radarr lets you browse collections, so the films in a series sit together in one place.
Sportarr shows live games. Tdarr shows its workers, so you can tell whether it is busy or stuck. NAS storage now appears in one view, across the systems you have connected.
Smaller things
In Sonarr, after you delete a show’s files, you can choose to unmonitor the series or remove it, so it does not quietly download everything again.
The full list is in the changelog.
