A high-level arc of how Kochab got here, and per-release notes for each App Store and Google Play update.

  1. Foundation

    Done

    Decided the shape of the app: Flutter for iOS and Android, client-direct to each service API, a small data-only push relay, RevenueCat for entitlements.

  2. Design pass

    Done

    Locked the observatory-dark visual system and the full screen set: home, downloads, activity, library, requests, search, infrastructure, and Docker containers.

  3. Public release

    Done

    Kochab shipped to the App Store and Google Play with the lifetime unlock and the monthly trial on-ramp. Per-release notes begin here.

  4. Expanding coverage

    Adding services and deepening per-service controls between releases. Compatibility and new integrations land here; see Release notes below for the detail.

Kochab 1.0 covers the whole self-hosted media stack from one app - libraries, downloads, requests, media servers, analytics, and the hardware underneath.
