1.0.0: Kochab 1.0

Kochab 1.0 covers the whole self-hosted media stack from one app - libraries, downloads, requests, media servers, analytics, and the hardware underneath.

Kochab 1.0 connects directly to the services you already run. There is no Kochab account and no server of ours between you and your data.

What it covers

Libraries. Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, and Sportarr, blended into shared Search, Library, Calendar, and Wanted views instead of one tab per service.

Downloads. SABnzbd and NZBGet for Usenet, plus qBittorrent, Transmission, and Deluge for torrents. They share one blended queue with pause, resume, reorder, priority, and per-item speed limits where the client supports them.

Indexers. Prowlarr, Jackett, NZBHydra2, and individual Newznab or Torznab indexers, with per-indexer health from Prowlarr.

Media servers. Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby for now playing, recently added, and library browsing.

Requests. Seerr, with approvals and request options for 4K, quality profile, and root folder.

Analytics. Tautulli, Jellystat, and Tracearr, blended into one Analytics view.

Infrastructure. Unraid, TrueNAS, Synology, and Portainer for storage, system health, and containers.

Utilities. Tdarr for transcode jobs and approvals, and Wizarr for invites.

Subtitles and discovery. Bazarr for subtitles, Trakt for account-based discovery.

How it is built

Client-direct. The app talks to each service itself. Credentials stay in the device’s secure storage, and none of your configuration or library data is stored on our servers.

Self-signed certificates. Kochab pins the certificate you approve and warns you if it later changes, instead of quietly trusting the new one.

Home and away. A stack can carry an internal and an external address, and Kochab picks the right one for the network you are on.

Notifications. A small relay delivers push for the events you choose. It routes notifications and never holds your stack configuration.

App lock. Face ID, fingerprint, or your device passcode, applied when you return to the app.

Backup and restore. An encrypted .kbk file you own and store yourself, protected by a passphrase you set. It is the portable record of your setup.
