Connect Jellystat
Add Jellystat to Kochab to read Jellyfin watch history and library play totals from your phone.
Jellystat records playback for a Jellyfin server. Kochab reads that record; it does not change Jellyfin settings through Jellystat.
What Kochab exposes through Jellystat
- Library totals: play count and total playback duration, summed across your libraries
- Item history: the watch history for a single title, shown on that title’s screen
Not yet exposed through Jellystat
Kochab’s Analytics charts (plays over time, by hour, by day of week, top platforms) are not wired for Jellystat yet. The routes exist on the Jellystat side and have been verified, but Kochab does not parse them today, so a Jellystat-only stack sees totals and per-title history rather than the full chart set.
Also not available:
- Per-user history (Jellystat is queried per item, not per user)
- Editing Jellystat’s own settings, or administering Jellyfin users and libraries
- Anything about a Plex or Emby server. Jellystat only knows Jellyfin
If you want the full chart set today, Tautulli (for Plex) and Tracearr (for Plex, Jellyfin, or Emby) are wired for it.
Before you start
Jellystat authenticates differently from most services: you sign in with the Jellystat administrator account, and Kochab then obtains an API key for you. Have the admin username and password to hand.
Kochab stores the resulting key in the device keychain.

Port 3000 is also a common default for other tools. Make sure the URL you enter really is Jellystat.
Add in Kochab
- Open Services -> Add service and choose Jellystat.
- Enter the URL of your Jellystat server (for example
http://192.168.1.10:3000). - Sign in with your Jellystat administrator account.
- Tap Test and add. Kochab completes the API key step for you.

Tips
- Add Jellyfin as well. Jellystat supplies the statistics; Jellyfin supplies the library, playback, and artwork.
- Jellystat only reports what it has recorded, so a fresh install shows very little until it has watched Jellyfin for a while.
