Connect qBittorrent
Add qBittorrent to Kochab with Web UI username and password and default port 8080.
qBittorrent is a torrent download client. Kochab uses its Web UI API for queue visibility and control.
What Kochab exposes through qBittorrent
- Downloads tab: qBittorrent transfers in the blended queue
- Control screen: status, pause/resume, and queue drill-in
- Per-torrent actions: priority, reorder, per-torrent speed limit, seeding ratio/time limit, reannounce, assign to an existing category, and the alt-speed mode toggle
- Search sends: grabs handed straight to the client from Search when configured
Not exposed through qBittorrent
Full torrent management (labels, creating or editing categories, RSS, advanced qBittorrent settings) stays in qBittorrent’s Web UI. Kochab does not expose per-torrent file trees.
Before you start
In qBittorrent: Tools -> Options -> Web UI. Enable the Web UI and set a username and password.

Kochab logs in to the Web UI and keeps a session cookie; you do not paste a separate API token.
Add in Kochab
- Open Services -> Add service and choose qBittorrent.
- Enter your host.
- Set the Web UI port (often 8080, but check your qBittorrent settings).
- Enter username and password.
- Tap Test and add.

Tips
- Port 8080 is common for qBittorrent and SABnzbd on the same host; use the port shown in qBittorrent’s Web UI settings, not a guess.
