Find services finds nothing on my network

Find services asks connected services for known peers. Check the source, skipped suggestions, and addresses your phone can reach.

It asks the services you have configured, with the credentials you gave Kochab, what other services they know about: Prowlarr’s linked apps, indexers, and download clients; an administrator Seerr connection’s linked services; and Sonarr/Radarr/Lidarr’s configured indexers and download clients. An empty result usually means one of the following, not a broken scanner.

Nothing is configured yet that can be asked

Kochab can only question Prowlarr, Seerr, Sonarr, Radarr, and Lidarr this way. If your stack is a download client and Jellyfin with nothing else, Kochab has nothing to ask. Add Prowlarr or Seerr first; either one usually knows about the most other services. Without a connected Prowlarr or Seerr, the empty-state hint says: No new services right now. Add Prowlarr or Seerr to enable this.

Everything it found is already added

A service already configured in Kochab never appears again as a suggestion, matched by identity or by address. If every service a Prowlarr or Seerr instance knows about is already in your stack, an empty list is the correct result.

Your phone cannot currently reach what it found

Kochab checks each candidate from your phone. An unreachable address stays in the offer with needs an address beside it, so you can select it and correct the address in Add Service. A Docker-only hostname may work from Prowlarr while your phone needs a LAN address instead. See Reverse proxies and remote access.

A suggestion was skipped before

Unchecking a service when you accept an offer dismisses that suggestion. Kochab does not offer it again on the next pass; you can still add it by hand.

Run it again after adding a service by hand

Find services only reflects what your configured services report at the moment you run it. If you add a service manually and it introduces new connections Prowlarr or Seerr did not already have on file, run Find services again to pick those up.
