Find services finds nothing on my network

The discovery scan probes from your phone, so the network it is on decides what it can find - work through network, VPN, and service checks in order.

More > Settings > Connections & Stacks > Find services does not scan your network for open ports. It asks the services you have configured, with the credentials you gave Kochab, what other services they know about: Prowlarr’s indexer and download-client list, Seerr’s linked media servers, and Sonarr/Radarr/Lidarr’s configured download clients. An empty result usually means one of the following, not a broken scanner.

Nothing is configured yet that can be asked

Kochab can only question Prowlarr, Seerr, Sonarr, Radarr, and Lidarr this way. If your stack is a download client and Jellyfin with nothing else, Kochab has nothing to ask. Add Prowlarr or Seerr first; either one usually knows about the most other services. An empty pass says exactly this: No new services right now. Add Prowlarr or Seerr to enable this.

Everything it found is already added

A service already configured in Kochab never appears again as a suggestion, matched by identity or by address. If every service a Prowlarr or Seerr instance knows about is already in your stack, an empty list is the correct result.

Your phone cannot currently reach what it found

A candidate only appears if your phone itself can open a connection to its address right now, on whatever network the phone is on at that moment. A service that Prowlarr reaches over its own Docker network, or through an internal hostname your phone has no route to, gets found and then silently dropped at this last check - the same “which network is my phone actually on” question that affects manually adding a service. Run it again after adding a service by hand

Find services only reflects what your configured services report at the moment you run it. If you add a service manually and it introduces new connections Prowlarr or Seerr did not already have on file, run Find services again to pick those up.
