Connect Trakt
Connect a Trakt account to Kochab with device authorization.
Trakt is a cloud account integration. It does not need a server host, port, or pasted API key.
What Kochab exposes through Trakt
- Account connection: device authorization in your browser
- Service status: connected or disconnected
- Discovery: account-backed Trakt features as they become available in Kochab
Before you start
You need a Trakt account. Kochab stores the account tokens in your device keychain and does not include the rotating refresh token in backups. Restoring a backup requires connecting Trakt again.
Add in Kochab
- Open Services -> Add service and choose Trakt.
- Open the Trakt authorization page shown by Kochab.
- Enter the short code and approve the connection.
- Return to Kochab. The service shows Connected when authorization finishes.
If you deny the request, Kochab stops the attempt and reports that it was denied. If the code expires, start again to get a new code.
